Americana

At the start of 2020, I said goodbye to New York and embarked on a 3 month long road trip across the United States.

It was during that time that I saw the prelude to January 6th, got trapped in the rolling Texas blackout, experienced a once in a century snowstorm, and had my car thrown off the road. This series of images and paintings are a meditation on the American landscape, both physical and political. And, what it's like to almost die... twice.
